  Come and join your fellow CBX owners for the 2003 Carson City, NV ICOA Rally. We’ve been hold this Rally for many years and it has consistently been a lot of fun. When making reservations ask for one of the rooms reserved under "CBX Club". After check-in on Friday, the participants will be getting acquainted (or renewing old friendships) and checking out the CBX’s. there will be a $10/person registration fee to cover the Club Insurance and weekend munchies. The Motel 6 has a pool, so bring your swimsuit. Saturday, we’ll be riding some of the majestic Sierra-Nevada roads with a side trip to historic Virginia City. That evening we’ll all be going to the Cattlemen’s Steak House for our banquet. Check-out on Sunday with future thoughts of the Morro Bay Rally in September.

 It’s Back! St.  Clairsville Region III. Renew old friendships and share in the fellowship that this rally is famous for. Dog and buffet racing every night   This is the site of one of the first Nationals the club ever put on and has some of the best roads in the country.

  Picture yourself and your CBX on a perfect summer day in a charming New England village with shops, restaurants and cafes, nestled in he the heart of the beautiful White Mountains in northern New Hampshire. You are deciding whether to take a ride through Franconia Notch State Park, view the Old Man in the Mountain, discover Lost River, or walk through the Flume Gorge. Perhaps you’ll go swimming in your motel pool or one of several lakes in the area.

 

 You will be staying in one of the 19 rooms at the Carriage Moel (www.carriagemotel.com/). The entire facility has been rented for this event by the rally organizer. The Carriage Motel features an outdoor pool, air conditioning, cable TV and a small refrigerator in every room. In addition, there is a game room with pool table, video games and more...

 

  Friday we will arrive and explore the facility and the area. We will be enjoying a Friday night Pizza Party by the river at the motel complete with salad, refreshments and desserts. Saturday there will be rides scheduled or you may choose to explore the 25+ attractions in the area on your own or with friends, new and old.

 

Saturday evening we will enjoy an old fashioned cookout by the river that will include hotdogs, hamburgers (garden burgers by request), beans, salads, desserts and refreshments. A bon fire is planned. Sunday, plan on a short group ride to Twin Mountain with stops for photos and whatever.

 

  Rooms at the Carriage Motel range from $60 a night to $72 plus tax with a two-night minimum. Rooms must be reserved and paid for in advance through the "Rally Organizer" NOT the motel. Your may call the motel for information at 603-745-2416, however they will not accept reservations for this event. Please book your room by calling me directly at 203-777-7672. I will let your know room availability, costs and you must send your room and rally fee directly to me via check or money order. Act fast. Room at the rally site is expected to go quickly. The cutoff date for registrations will be July 12, 2003.  No reservations required. Accommodations are $15.00 per person/per day. Please RSVP by email prior to arrival. Rally Fee is $25.00 per person.

 

  The camp is located on beautiful Flathead Lake in Northwest Montana, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi River. Many have enjoyed the use of the beach and bonfires during previous rallies. The view is fantastic! No tents are at this camp, however, the sleeping arrangements could be "roughing it" depending on your point of view; there are 2 large bunkhouses complete with mattresses and full indoor bathrooms. We have a limited amount of sleeping bags and pillows available. The largest bunkhouse has a large fireplace in the lower level. The dining hall comes complete with a large kitchen, more sleeping facilities, bathroom and large multilevel deck overlooking beautiful Flathead Lake.

 

 Rally t-shirts will be available on request. Please order yours two weeks prior to the rally via email or by phone.

 

 Friday: Check-in at camp and dinner at Garden Bar. Saturday: Fun ride and evening cookout at camp. Sunday: At your own leisure, breakfast in the am. Monday: Off to Morro Bay, California and other destinations.

 The entire motel is reserved for us, so say you want one of the rooms reserved for the "CBX Motorcycle Club".

 

 The Central California ICOA Meet in Morro Bay at the Keystone Inn has become a tradition for close to 20 years. This is a popular event for the wives or girlfriends, so don’t leave them at home. After check-in on Friday, the participants will be getting acquainted (or renewing old friendships) and checking out the CBX’s. There will be a $25/person registration fee to cover the Club insurance, the Saturday night catered Santa Maria style BBQ and weekend munchies. Please send me $25 by August 15th so that I can get an accurate head-count for the BBQ (We don’t want to run out of food).

 

  Friday night we’ll be walking down to the Port Hole for pizza (with maybe a side trip to Happy Jacks). On Saturday there will be separate rides to various coastal locations (e.g., Pismo Beach, Cambria, etc.). That evening we’ll all be having the Santa Maria style BBQ at the Keystone. Some participants might be leaving on Sunday, but for those who stay we can do another ride, or stay in town and do the tourist thing. Check-out Monday with future thoughts of the So. Cal Rally in October.
