Hello all.
I have to admit, I do not own a CBX myself, my boss has just bought one and has asked me to look after it for him, I have owned bikes for over 40 years and in a garage full of car technicians he has entrusted the job to me!

Re: Hello all.
Better take it for lots of test rides to pinpoint any potential problems.

Re: Hello all.
Thanks for the welcome, it is a 79 z model, and yes it will have to have a few test rides
, I joined up for advice, but so far the servicing side of things seem quite straight forward, I hope it stays that way

Re: Hello all.
You are right! All bolts and nuts turn clockwise to tighten and counter-clockwise to loosen. Oil goes in the top and comes out at the bottom. The tank has a filler to pour gasoline into, the tires have little nipples to add air....kevn wrote:Thanks for the welcome, it is a 79 z model, and yes it will have to have a few test rides, I joined up for advice, but so far the servicing side of things seem quite straight forward, I hope it stays that way
