Corbin Gentry

Post by broook »

I finally found the name on the seat of my 80. It is a Corbin Gentry, or possibly Centry. Hard to pick out.

In my two trips to Marlinton I saw approx. 150- 170 CBX`s but did not see a seat like this on any of the bikes there. Anybody else got one or know of one. I suppose as bike seats go it is pretty comfortable. More so for sure than the original. Just curious. It was on the bike when I bought it back in 1990.

I have an old Corbin Gentry king/queen seat out in the garage off a CBX I got many years ago. Only sat on it on the ride from the sellers. Very heavy pan with a couple of the buttons missing. Bob

Ah! Well at least I am not the only one that has one.

There are no buttons on mine but it looks to be original.

The passenger part of the seat is a good bit higher so I suppose it could be called a king Queen. Never seen one like it.

CORBIN SEAT

Brook,

As you probably know. a cement block is more comfy than a stock seat!!
Don't think of it as a motorcycle-- Think of it as a very fun 2-wheeled engine stand powered by a Japanese Slant Six !!
