New "X" owner from Ohio

I've wanted a CBX since I saw the photo article in Hot Rod magazine ( on the last page) in 1979. I picked up a two owner '82 in January. She needs cosmetic and engine tuning work. Looking forward to sharing with you guys, this looks like a fantastic site!

Welcome to the forum. More important than the forum is the club which sponsors the website. The ICOA is a wonderful group of folks who really care about the CBX motorcycles. Folks will give you advice on how to do just about anything.
More important to me is the get togethers that we have where you meet the folks you chat with on the website and get a chance to see their CBX and ride with them. There is a wonderful assortment of CBX's represented among the membership to include a lot of heavily modified/custom CBX's.

, I've picked up mine two years ago, today I have three cbxs and still looking for more, very addictive, sometimes I feel like I want them all

quite a few of us in Ohio! A good occasion to meet here is AMA Vintage Days at Mid Ohio in Lexington in July! Maybe we can set up a regional meet for OH, PA, KY, IN and MI guys before that!

I would be very interested in getting together for Vintage MC days @ Mid-Ohio- hopefully the bike will be ready to roll!
