Seat trim

Did all CBX1000 seats come with the chrome seat trims on each side of the seat grab strap?

Only 79s and 80s had chrome strips. 81 and 82 did not.

...but oddly, the replacement "B" seats that Honda sold for the 79 and 80 not only had a different pattern on the vinyl, but also deleted the trim. See photos of my bike (signature) for example.EMS wrote:Only 79s and 80s had chrome strips. 81 and 82 did not.

That is indeed odd. I bought several of these when Honda had them a few years ago and they all had the strips.
