Hi, guys
I am Leon, and, I kind of inherited my 1981 Honda CBX 550 F from a friend. I live in Midrand, Johannesburg, in the Gauteng-province of SA. My CBX is in a really good condition cosmetically, but, there are some issues with the engine. I will discuss it under the technical section. Hopefully, you gents will be able to advise me.

Leon, I am sorry to disappoint you, but this group is focused on the 6-cylinder CBX1000 and most of the tech info you will find is all related to that bike. You're welcome here, and I hope you find solutions to your running issues though.
There are a couple of other forums that deal more in the DOHC Hondas, one of my favorites is the 1100F forum which you can find here:

Not just right for your bike perhaps, but a decent start.
Welcome!
