Hello everyone, I have been an ICOA member for years, this is my first time posting. I have an 1982 CBX,I bought it here in Minnesota from the original owner. It had 11,000 miles on it and had been sitting for years.Pulled the motor out, repainted it and had Browns plating chrome all of the aluminum covers.Rechromed the crash bar and chain guard also. Some purists may not approve but I don't like fairings so I removed the fairing and saddle bags. I installed dual headlights and a Kerker 6 into 1 header also. Has the bare engine look of a '79 or' 80 CBX with the handling benefits of a Prolink and air forks.
Has anyone ever changed just the start button contact switch? My right hand control switch is in great condition but the start button requires a lot of pressure to make contact when starting.I have seen replacement switches available but would like to replace just the start button contact part of the switch.
Anyone know if just that part is available somewhere?

The muffler is a SuperTrapp Superlight stainless canister on a Kerker header.
