Just bought a couple of 79 CBX's I thought I should join the best forum as I am on here all the time searching and reading old posts. Both bikes are decent, but needed work because they have been sitting for 20 years. I rebuilt the carbs on each of them and they are both running, one very good but one still won't idle below 2000 rpm. So the carbs need to come back off to see what's still clogged.
I am not new to the cbx as I had one 10 years ago that I should have kept. I have had several early cb750s and know them really well. The cbx is obviously different but the it is a nice challenge.
The forum looks like a great bunch of very knowledgable people.

Regards, bill :techie-typing:
I am getting really good at taking the carbs out.

Bill,

Welcome. As you have found out, there are some mighty knowledgeable folks hanging out here, and the rest of us chime in to fill the cracks. And we all have fun. :D

Either garage is too small or we have too many bikes. Or Momma's car needs to go outside.

Hi ya, Bill.
I like your thinking. Regret selling one CBX, so you replace it with two.
