82CBX Caretaker

I'm the proud owner / caretaker of an 82 CBX. Frame number 2607. It was originally from PEI Canada and was in the hands of a Honda dealer mechanic for 15 years. I plan on a tear down for cleaning and evaluation purposes over the winter but it seems to be well kept and I'm looking forward to touring around with it.

Welcome to CBX ownership, twowings! Your 82 Prolink has a high serial number. Probably produced in January of 1982. Most of the high serial numbers ended up in Canada for some reason.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm a Honda guy with a large collection of Goldwings. 1800, 1500, 1200, 1100 and a bunch of 1000's. also got a 1984 Kawasaki Z1100R. I'm really looking forward to riding this beast! I haven't rode one since 1986 so it won't be completely unfamiliar but I'm not as young as I was then.
