Just the week before Vintage Days, we had a trip out to Colorado for a few days with some friends.
A few of you who knew, asked me at Mid-Ohio how the trip was. It was great.
I am right now sorting through some of the pictures.
Two times over 14,000 ft, Pikes Peak and Mt. Evans.

That was exactly how the camera took it. It was on self-timer and sitting on a small boulder. Couldn't find a perfectly level place......NilsMenten wrote: I was getting a stiff neck looking at it though - hope you don't mind I rotated and cropped it.

What bike were you riding, Mike?
And don't tell me you trailered a couple different bikes for situational riding.

I was going to ride a Ducati, but ended up riding the BMW RT, not a CBX. That's why the post is in the category "no redeeming value".steve murdoch icoa #5322 wrote:What bike were you riding, Mike?

But really, going all the way out to CO, through Kansas, was not my idea of a nice ride. I would trailer through there anytime.
And in Colorado, you actually could use a couple different bikes. Up Pike's Peak, with a 2-mile stretch of packed dirt, that changed into slippery mud on the way back down, a GS would have been perfect. Everything else was alright for the RT.

Life is too fleeting to only ride one bike through it
