Valve adjusting tool

Hi all,
Can someone provide me with the spec of the valve adjusting tool, Size, etc, as I need one very soon and it will be quicker if I make one.

I am not sure, if making one will be faster than buying one of the things on ebay, for example.
Unless someone takes a tool and takes some precise measurements, exact specs will be hard to come by. The thing is both simple and still complicated as the shape will push down the buckets when the cam is rotated and the edges hold down both adjacent buckets at the same time.

One other note, it needs to be hardened. ( 'file-hard' as it's called in industry.) Otherwise, the lifter buckets will just bite into it without letting it slide on them.
