New Member from South Africa
Hi, My name is Kevin Taylor and I live in Johannesburg, South Africa. I am 52 years old and have always owned Hondas. My first was a C110 (1964) that i got at the age of 10. I now have 10 Bikes in various stages of restoration. 7 of the 10 are CBX1000's, two are CB900F's and I also have a 1998 Honda Super Blackbird. I have loaded some of the CBX pics into the gallery for you. i look forward to returning to the site more often in the future. regards, Kevin

Hey Kevin, welcome!
You're among kindred spirits, most of us have a 'motorcycle problem' too

I'm looking forward to a trip to Johannesburg next February for an Edelweiss trip, hoping to arrive a day or two prior to explore a bit. We'll have to have a pint!

I prefer the Powerflow but Cowley is about all we can get here at a reasonable price.steve murdoch icoa #5322 wrote:Great to have another addict on board.

Kevin:
Welcome and don't be bashful about posting! It's tough enough keeping 1 or 2 CBXs running over here where we have relative access to parts. Must be extremely tough there to keep/restore seven!

Hi Kevin, I don't know if you are aware of Krish at Powerflow motorcycle exhausts in Durban? He makes beautiful 6-1, 6-2, 6-6 stainless steel pipes and exports all over the world. His workmanship is brilliant and his prices are reasonable. You can get him on 0832268503. If anyone else would like to make contact from anywhere in the world - +27832268503.CBX_ktaylor wrote:I prefer the Powerflow but Cowley is about all we can get here at a reasonable price.steve murdoch icoa #5322 wrote:Great to have another addict on board.

Welcome Kevin
What a buzz it must be waking up in the morning to 7CBX's - imagine the sound in the garage
.
My wife caught me riding up and down the street at 11pm the other night because I wanted to check for an oil leak (thanfully there was'nt one) after re-fitting the clutch - she said it would wake the neighbourhood!!!
Good to see members from everywhere.
Regards Andy
