hello all

just joined the club and managed to get registered etc. totally new to these kind of things but thought it would be very helpful in the resto of my 81 cbx. bike sat for number of years and wouldn't start. trailered it home and had it running in couple days. carbs gummed up so running very rough but hey, how hard could it be to fix these carbs anyway. ya right! look forward to having my questions answered. as of right now bike is stripped down to frame and motor, once i verify oil pressure motor comes out and get started on frame up resto.

thanks a lot!

Hi ya, Kent.
Once you get it sorted out and on the road all the time, effort and expensive will be easily forgotten. These brutes are great.
Like every website we like to look at pics.

Kent:
Welcome! Good to have you. You can search some recent threads (and old ones) about carb woes and eventual successes. Have at it and ask lots of questions - these things get expensive if you head off in the wrong direction too many times.
