Swingarm replacement

Has anyone used a 82/83 GS1100E swingarm before? If so, what modificatins were needed to make it fit? It looks like a good candidate for a swap in.

I have done that. It is slightly longer. Somewhere between a Prolink and a CB1100F swingarm. Depending on what bike you have, you need to consider the swingarm bolt diameter.
It is 16mm. It is basically a bolt on.

Did you have to make any modifications at all (i.e. cutting or make special spacers)?

It was two years ago. I did it on a '79 chassis. I had to make a sleeve to fit the 14mm swingarm bolt. I don't remember whether I did something with the caps/spacers. Need to check this.
