Hello,
Been lurking for a while. Used to belong to ICOA in the Clint Hooper days. Then left my 79 CBX (I bought new) out in the back 40 while I pursued Yamaha FZR's and other madness. Now, I'm going to bring the old girl back up to snuff as soon as I finish with my current refurbishment (Triumph Cub).

Welcome aboard. Always great to hear about a resto instead of a part-out.
Always like the look of the Cub. Blasphemy that Triumph is using that name for its 3 cylinder 800cc dual purpose bike.

Welcome to the site and thanks for piping up. We would all really enjoy helping you restore your bike. Let the chronicle begin!

It gets worse, look at what they are calling a Trident. Regardles of whether you like the Trident today, naming it for the first British superbike, and arguably, the first superbike period is another blasphemy.

Ain't it the truth.
I had a '75 T160, another one of those "wish i had never sold" bikes.
