My dear wife moaned because I bought yet another watch ( I now have 4.) She said: " Why do you want 4 watches" ? I said: "Why do you want 20 handbags & 30 pairs of shoes ?"....

Re: Going thru tough times ?
I always have fight with myself as what I buy for me.
I usually lose on something but end up winning on something else.
I'm usually happy with my decision and thank myself for the objective comments regarding the plus and minus'.
My birthdays 3 days away and I haven't decided on the Ducati 1198 or the Aprilla.
Maybe in the next couple days my mind will make a pack with my inner self and decide on the color.
Dam, how Am I going to convince my self that I really deserve a nice gift and I have other stuff that need equal treatment.
I hope I win on this this one,, it really sucks when I lose on a decision with my self.
Later ,, George in Delaware

Highmileage, your right I was working, I'm always working.
The Ducati 748 is doing well, new tires, new wheels, a real sweet heart of a machine.
Hope your Buell is holding up well.
With all these bikes, my new GMC pickups always sitting in the carport watching the motors come and go.

Re: Going thru tough times ?
Just got new rubber for the Buell - I expect to mount them tonight.
Did ya hear about the bike show two weeks ago at the Federalsburg, MD VFW? At least six or seven hundred bikes in the parking area including lotsa nice crotch rockets (Busas, Ninjas, a few Ducatis, etc.). But the only bike that enterred the show in the sport bike class was a friggin' VTX 1800 w/ a few added goodies.
So I entered teh Buell at the very last minute. It was a bit tough hauling the dang first place trophy home

Hardly I am pretty sure Honda owners would know the difference between a sportbike and a VTX1800....George R. Garrison #0857 wrote:HOG? Honda Owners Group?
