Hi, I'm new to this forum and wonder if anyone can help me around regarding information about the CBX 650 E (in Sweden sold as CBX 600 E). I am about to buy a 650 E and would very much like to get in touch with people who own a bike like this.
Currently I would like to know if anybody knows if you can change the head gasket on this bike without removing the engine? I went by a local Honda-dealer today but they did not know without looking at the bike...
Regards /Lars

CX650E
I can't help thinking you're referring to the CX650E, not CBX. This is a sport non-Turbo version of the CX series that was only made in 83 and 84 and only available in Europe and Canada, not the U.S. I have a mint 84 with 4000 kms on it, cool bike. I would imagine you can take the heads off while the engine is in the bike as they stick out as a transverse V-twin ala Moto Guzzi and you can almost change plugs on the go. Hope this helps.
