Duraflow Stainless 6-6 System

Anybody familiar with these guys? 6-6 pipes look like Pipemaster.

Those are very nice looking Tony.
The mufflers on my PipeMasters i have on my '81 have the same staggered set-up. Hmmm....
No fooling around with those crash bars either.

They look quite similar to the Pipemasters but the ends of the mufflers are different and they appear to be one piece from header to muffler with no collector in the middle like the Pipemasters have

I know what you mean about the crashbars! It's good to keep as much weight down as low as possible, but still, you can carry a good thing a bit too far ;)

The exhaust on the Prolink looks like a BSM. I just bought one like this brand new.

The bend in the pipe between the muffler and collector in the pipe Tony posted looks like there's a bend in it for clearance around the lower engine hanging bolt that would allow the pipes to give more ground clearance. Not that critical for most (how often do you drag stuff while cornering).

I sent the guy an email and have not heard back.

Guy is in British Columbia. Pictures are definitely not from BC, as is clearly indicated by the roads and power lines in the background.

The bend is in the BSM exhaust also. The pictures do not show it well. I don't think it is for ground clearance, though. The muffler hangs on the brackets like the stock muffler. And the stock pipes have a slight indentation at that spot too.

According to the Canadian distributor, the pipes are made in South Africa. He is not importing at the moment. Anybody have a clue who the manufacturer is?

Wasn't there a 6-6 called the "Flowmaster" made in South Africa? I thought Louis had one of them on his Hulk bike

I emailed them about the pipes and received this answer:

Hi George,

At this stage I am unable to quote as the feight costs just keep going up
making my pipes very expensive and uncompetitive.

About a year ago it was CDN $ 2,700, so it could easily be over $3,000 now.

It is only available as a complete system, which presumably is with headers
(factory info not that clear).

I think you're right Mike, they came from South Africa & I think cbx1260cc ( Ricardo Sawyer) has them too...

Never heard of a M/C exhaust called Flowmasters but there is a car/truck exhaust company here with that name. Gives a deep throated sound to any vehicle.

I may have mixed that up. But the name was something with "flow" and the exhaust was different from the Pipemasters. Maybe it was Powerflow?
I don't think it was Duraflow...

Yes Powerflow from Durban, South Africa. Distributor advised this.
