You'll need to investigate further.

Could be a weak return spring and/or the rubber cushion missing from the exhaust pipe.

(assuming you have a stock exhaust system).

Thanks, yes i have the stock exhaust system. I think it could be the spring as you say but im sure that i dont have the rubber cushion you mention.
Can anyone tell me where i can find it? And it would be perfect if someone could take me a picture of that
Thanks very much

Here you go. The side stand rests on the rubber when it’s up.

Sorry I must’ve glossed over the term ‘central’ stand. I’ve only ever heard of it referred to as a center stand. So yes there’s another rubber pad in a metal extension on the underside of the left side muffler. When I ran a 6 into 1 exhaust on my ‘79 the center stand would come in contact with the chain as it rotated beyond where the rubber ‘stop’ was on the OEM exhaust. Excuse the grime underneath, I’m locating an oil leak around the counter sprocket. As for locating the parts, there may be others but Louis is bound to have what you need. He’s in Florida.

Thanks for the information and sorry for the confusion i really wanted to write "center' instead of "central ". Good luck with the oil leak, i wish i could help with that but i dont know where it comes from
I'll ask Louis and lets see if he'll be able to ship it to spain
Thanks

have just asked to my father because it was his bike and he told that the exhaust system arent the stock one. Maybe thats the problem. The side stand doesnt rest on the rubber and the center stand doesnt have even the rubber.
Any advice?

That is the center stand rest I see in you photo. If your stand does not hit it when up, then the exhaust is for an early model. The stand stops are different. You can make an extension to the stop so it works with your stand. This is the problem with aftermarket exhausts.

Thanks Dave, it is my fathers bike and he has just given me it. When he changed the exhausts system was a long time ago. Even the internet didn´t work as nowadays. Those were the exhausts he could buy.
Let me see how i can solve it because its very annoying the noise while riding.

Thanks a lot
