Hi Guys,

I'm from Terrebonne, Québec, Canada. I just bought from a very good friend his 1982 White CBX 1000 with the intent of making a cafe racer. It's going to be a mild one in terms of looks, as I want it to be very close to the original bike. It will have a 1979 tail piece and headlight, with modified (3D printed) side covers. And a new paint scheme.

But in terms of all things mechanical, I just went nuts... :D

The engine is currently being rebuilt with oversize pistons and valves and FCR carburetors. I ordered lots of parts from JB-Racing in Japan (complete swingarm, rear pro link shock, magnesium wheels, titanium 6-1 exhaust, triple clamp, front forks, complete brake system etc...).

I will try to keep you posted on my build as it happens.

Ciao!

Welcome to the site, Charles.
Sounds like an ambitious and expensive build. :-)
Please do report back when ever you get to a new stage.
