Hello from Switzerland
Hi,
My name is Sacha Marc , year 1964, and I live in Estavayer-le-Lac / Switzerland.
This week a dream came true buying a CBX 1 from 1980.
I am very happy to be a part of the CBX community.
Best regards

Re: Hello from Switzerland
Looks to me like a 1979 model. It has 79 wheels and the Euro small alternator, which was a 1979 item only. Depending where it originally came from, it is typical for Europe where vehicles are identified by the year they were registered for the first time, not when they were made.

...and a really late production unit to boot. According to the VIN number, it is a late December 78/early January 1979 bike
