Picking up my first CBX this week, an '82 that's been owned the last 7 years by a friend of mine in another state. I've had probably a dozen early CB750's but never yet owned a CBX. I wasn't exactly looking for a CBX, I was really looking for a nice CB900F or CB1100F, but he made me an offer I couldn't refuse on it. The bike supposedly has around 32k on it and has been ridden a few thousand miles the last 7 years. Runs well, carbs have been gone through not long ago, and the alternator brushes were replaced. I think it's due for a good servicing of the suspension so I'm looking into emulators up front and maybe a Progressive or Ikon in the rear. This is the only pic I have. Stock besides the Corbin seat and just a little honest wear here and there.

Good for you!1 The best money that can be spent on a prolink is the emulators and the rear shock. PERIOD! Either the Ikon or the Progressive will do. Enjoy!
