Good morning,
I have several motorcycles, including five Hondas , 82 CX500E, 75 CB550k, 78 CB750K, 80 CB750F, 83 CB1100F ,,,,,,,,,,,,, and now a
1979 CBX Super Sport. Its a non running bike , last run approx 5 years ago. It will require lots of attention, however it's all there, so perfect candidate for a restoration. It already has the upgraded Alternator. The bike came with a good amount of extra parts , and factory manual. I'll start in on it in a few weeks (finishing up another project).
First will be a compression test. Then an attempt to de rust the tank . Anyway looking forward taking my time bringing this bike back to life.

Welcome to the site.
Obviously owning a couple of Fs the resto and maintenance of the CBX shouldn't provide too many surprises.
Feel free to show us some pics of what you are starting with.
