New Member From Tasmania, Australia

Post by gamve »

Hi All,
Newbie here just saying hello. Had my 79 for a while now but it needed
some attention as an igniter had failed and the charging system was a
bit average. Looking forward to putting some miles on her and looking
forward to participating in the forums. Downloaded the manual from
this site, thanks muchly for this fantastic service to a new owner.
Sorry about the image orientation but I'm not sure how to fix it

Hey mate,
once I have mine up and running would love to catch the ferry over to the apple isle and cruise catch up for a cruise. Your bike looks very tidy indeed. Very impressive.

You will get where you are going in a hurry with that sport-oriented stable.
Lovely collection.

Just curious, what forks are on the VTR?

Hi Steve,
The forks are standard fitted with 30.0mm ohilins cartridges and billet fork lowers from a
company in Germany for the 108mm brembo radial calipers

The silver wheels look good on the CBR-XX. The stock black tends to get little nicks in the edges when changing tires.

Either garage is too small or we have too many bikes. Or Momma's car needs to go outside.

Oh good. You have a Ducati.

You'll experience the same clutch rattle from your CBX and won't complain about it. LOL.

Nice looking 1100F!
If you haven't already discovered it www.cb1100f.net is an excellent site dedicated to DOHC-F models.
