Hi all, thx for letting me in! Always been a CBX fan, my old man owned a Silver one way back in '79, and somehow trough the years the CBX stayed in my mind and on my bucket list. I started riding in '87 on a CB1100f, i have a fully restored CB1100f in the garage, looks like it came straight out the showroom. So, earlier this year, just before lockdown in March, i came across this 1981 CBX and bought it, it's a first owner bike, the previous owner was 72 years old, and it became too heavy for him to drive safe, when i picked it up and drove away he started crying, i really felt sorry for him ;-)

I'm planning a resto-mod on the bike.

ow yeah, my daily ride is a Triumph Speed TripleR 1050, and i live in Belgium.

thx!

Welcome to the site, Vollegaaz.
http://www.sixcenter.nl/index.html is an excellent shop, relatively nearby that is devoted to six cylinder bikes.
Feel free to show a couple pics of your other bikes.

Welcome / Bienvenue Vollegaaz. You’re in the right place to ask any CBX related questions, lots of collective knowledge here from many experienced owners. Good luck with your prolink!
