New Member - Looking for guidance on spare parts

Post by CBX2088 »

Hi guys,
I hope this kind of post is acceptable. I have some CBX parts from my father and have no use for them. He used to work at a dealership and collected parts here and there.

The first that comes to mind is a set of foot pegs for the rider and passenger. Brand new and still supple, just been sitting on a shelf ever since the CBX was a current model. What can I expect to sell these for, and is anyone interested? I'd rather have them go to an enthusiast than a random on eBay if possible.

I believe there are other parts for the CBX such and I am still going through the pile but figured I'd start with these.

Please let me know if this is the wrong place I totally understand. Thank you

Welcome to the site CBX2088.
Personally i appreciate you coming here before automatically going to EBay or some other buy/sell site.
Yes, i think there should be interest in the foot pegs.
Easier to guesstimate at pricing with pics of the parts you have for sale. Reproduction front rubber replacements are $75.00 a pair.

Well I may have been a bit mistaken... the other parts are not for a CBX, but instead other CB's such as the 750, 900, and 1100.

I think the foot pegs are CBX-specific. Does this look right?

They do look like CBX pegs to me but i am far from an expert on parts identification.
I know CX500/650Turbo pegs were similar so i would wait for further confirmation.

An excellent site to offer the 750/900/1100F parts is www.cb1100f.net

Those are CBX footpegs for sure. You are welcome to post them in the 'For Sale' section here. You may also put them out on the club Facebook page, if you don't want to go the eBay route.
