1979 CBx reserection
Hello I’m here to rebuild this 79. I’ll be needing some help putting this back on the road. I think I have some good bones here! I’m 44 always been fascinated by these bikes and this fell in my lap. Questions and comments appreciated so fire away. I live in nh. You never see these things until you own one then they start popping up.... weird. Hoping to have in on road in spring then work out the bugs and then make it shine....

Welcome! Looks like a pretty decent bike to start with. Are the missing pieces missing or do you have all the stuff? As you go, ask before doing something that, if screwed up, will get expensive.

I have everything accept a few small things. Lots of Oem parts new in the bags. As long as it runs good with no issues I will be spending whatever it takes to make it right.
