Need advice on something
I would like to remove the bolts that clamp the steering stem so that I can refresh the reflector brackets. Can I remove both bolts on one side and not mess up the stem position on the fork? I'm talking about item 8 on the attached graphic. My reflector brackets, item 2, need paint.

Thanks tevan. Would you or anyone here know how much torque should be used for those 4 acorn nuts?

Thanks! After seeing that figure, I realized it was probably in the shop manual that I haven't yet had a chance to view.

No worries. Manual has torque values at the beginning of each chapterksquared wrote:Thanks! After seeing that figure, I realized it was probably in the shop manual that I haven't yet had a chance to view.
