New to CBX1000 ownership from United kingdom

Post by Martek »

Hi Guy's
Just back from the Isle of Man TT and looking at all the bikes, a CBX1000 caught my eye again.
So have purchased a 1982 model, that has been fully restored, although i am likely to modify it.
I have bought it, now the long wait for it to be delivered, should be here for late next week.
I'll then post pictures.
But for now, Hi everybody from an excited soon to be new CBX1000 owner.
Regards David.

David,

Welcome to CBX ownership!

I think I know the bike you have bought - from West coast of Scotland? If so, you got a great bike.

Paul.

Hi Paul
You are correct and that is very reassuring to know.
Rather worrying to buy a bike i have not actually seen or ridden.
But the logistics to see it in person was not going to work.
So i am awaiting delivery with my fingers crossed.
Regards David.

Thanks Guy's, really looking forward to CBX ownership, it's been a long time coming.

Jeff, holding out ok, i now know it is going to be collected next Thursday 28th and a couple of days later it should be with me.

Although, i received two videos of the bike running today from the current owner and it sounds superb.

Regards David.
