Finish on mirror stems.
My mirrors have some corrosion on the leading edge of the stems. Is the finish what they call black chrome - sort of has a greenish look to it? Can this be redone or is it just cheaper to go out and buy new mirrors?

Buy new ones, they are not expensive.
