Hi to All just a quick line to say Hi I live in Dorset,UK
I HAVE 4 CBX1000,s all complete & running but one I'm having problems with A PRO-LINK
It will not run below 2000 RPM
THE CARB HAVE JUST BEEN (Sonic) CLEANED i did forget to clean the fuel tank out &
I got some water in the carbs but that's sorted now
ANY IDEAS

Welcome to the site!
It will be blocked pilot jets - ultra-sonically cleaning won't always clear them. They will need to be removed to remove any crud from the jets and passages behind them.

I agree with Paul on it probably being the pilot jets.

I had my carbs sonic cleaned by a professional and it wasn't satisfactory. There were still serious blockages so I took them apart myself and cleared dirt/sludge from the larger parts with dental picks and guitar wire. For the tiny passages I used bottle of carb cleaner and sprayed every single orifice(there are a lot of them) I could find until they all flowed freely.
I used mike nixons carb book as my guide to find all the orifices

How did you sync the carbs if it won't idle /tick over?
+1 with the gents above on the plugged jets although there are other possibilities. Are you certain that the choke flaps are completely open with slack in the cable?
That is another known cause of the issue you describe.

Welcome Duff, looks like your carbs will need to come off again, search the forum for proper cleaning instructions and do it yourself, the forum members here will help you if you run into any problems.

I'm cbx poor, I only have one and it's been with me for 38 years so we're not parting company anytime soon.
Closer to you Bert at Six Center Motoren in the Netherlands has a number of CBXes in his showroom rebuilt and ready to roll.
