Hello from Oz

Post by jagtoolman »

Hi guys,

First time posting on any forum, anywhere!
I'm a 47 yr old Kiwi, living in Melbourne, Australia.
Just bought a '79 CBX in Candy Glory Red - have wanted one ever since I sat on one in a bike shop in NZ, in 1986.
Just wish now, that I'd kept the scale model I made when I was 12, instead of sacrificing it to fireworks night!
Now it's time to ride!

Cheers, Matt

Sounds lovely Mouse!
We had 41 deg C today, it's now 2am and I'm still sitting outside in shorts and singlet wishing it would cool down!
Sure do find that big engine throws off a lot of heat on a hot day!
Cheers, Matt

OOFF!!! At least you can ride; even at that temp!! This zero to minus just doesn't get it. Especially, when you add some 'slick' factor to the roadways. And, a happy '26. :text-welcomewave:

41 ! ouch! Still I would not have minded a nice heat source for my hands and toe's today. Building a deck in winter sucks.
Happy New Year. :D

when the weather turns cold that big engine is an excellent spot to put your feet on and the cam covers are within easy reach for bringing some heat back into your hands...
