I got my bike back!
Hello. I am Randy Wahlfeldt, located in Champaign, Illinois USA. I am very excited because I just got back my 1979 Honda CBX motorcycle. I am the second and fourth owner of the bike. I sold the CBX to a friend of mine in 1989 and just bought it back. Although my CBX is not running at the moment, I get a big grin on my face every time I look at it. Everyone has their favorite bike and for me it’s the CBX, a high performance technical work of art. This forum looks like an excellent resource and I am sure I will be posting several questions as I do the rebuild.

great story...I'm sure many of us have regrets about having sold something years ago wishing them could find it again few are lucky enough to have that opportunity...and welcome to the forum, you'll be well served by the big CBX brains that lurk here... 
CBX a work in progress, still improving...GS1150EFE completed and awaiting modifications.....RD350, remnants in boxes scattered throughout the garage
