I am very excited about the new sprocket and chain, just disappointed that I'm having to go through this process under time pressure.
Billy at Supersprox says that they should be able to send out my rear sprocket & chain by Wed. If he can do that, then I'll have it by the time we're ready to swap the shocks and swingarm, which would be great.

I must say I like the supersprox stuff. I have the gold and black sprocket with a gold chain on my blackbird, lasted amazingly well so far.

That is exactly what I wanna hear. :)
They're claiming 20k+ miles on a 'Busa. One of their MX setups went the whole length of Paris-Dakar. I'm stoked.

My front sprocket from CBX Performance arrived yesterday, the rear and the chain from Supersprox are on the truck for delivery today.
Hopefully the rear of the bike will be sown up by the end of this weekend. There's also some electrical work being done, then it's off to the fabricator.

I swung by the shop today to check out my new sprocket & chain...
Looks awesome. I'm almost glad about the screw-up with the Driven order - this looks like it'll be worth the extra time, extra money, and extra hassle.
I'll post pics when it's all together.

Here we are. I really like the contrast between the anodized & natural aluminum - it goes well with the black springs & chrome swingarm, IMO:
In person, the inner aluminum part of the sprocket looks closer in color to the black steel outer section.
The chain is coated black, not just the regular black non-chrome steel you see on a lot of chains. Once the packing grease is cleaned off, it should look great, too.

Chainguard is my next project.
