<<Has anyone remember what the Denco 6 into 6's sound like?>>
Howdy George, don't know if this statement above is sarcastic or not
you among all people probably know about the Denco's...
I rode with a guy here in NJ who had a set. If memory OK, they were real
6 into 6 , fit and finish questionable, sounded really loud and obnoxious, but that was part of the fun back then.
+ 1 on all previous comments on Pipemasters , need to massage them a bit for alignment and side stand rest , also the center stand on mine which required making a bracket to align the rubber grommet stop.
But at the end, it's worth it. The best looking set on any CBX (earlies or pro link )
For jetting, they will work fine with just a stage 1 Dynojet, harder with a stage 3 + indiv. filters.
FWIW
I had picked up a set of what was described as Yoshimura 6 in 1
(Thank you George

)
and had it finished by Jet Hot, it required removal of the center stand
(bummer) but looked pretty cool and sounds amazing, even better than my Pipemasters, BUT I noticed a definite loss is power from 6 G's and up
It runs a little smoother in low and midrange but not as strong on the top.
This observation seems to confirm what was written by all previous CBX gurus on the subject, that the 6 in 1 may sound cool but is not the choice
to make for performance, in my opinion and based on my own previous tests,
a well tuned Supertrapp with correct jetting (open race caps) runs really well , and the Pipemasters even better.
