Hi Phil, it sure is hard to find any info on our headers... I hope to find some magazine reviews or whatever else but there just doesn't seem to be much that is directly searchable on the web. I think the online CBXEPRESS mags have been OCR'd and are now searchable? -I''ll have to look there and see what I can find...FalldownPhil wrote:Welcome Jeff.
Now I know where there are three sets of the alphabets. Jebby in Texas has a set also.
Best,
Phil

Thanks! -good idea to rotate your laptop, rotating my phone wouldn't help since it always repositions the image with up as up! I noticed if you select the photo then it opens the full resolution with the correct orientation. I've started seeing this mysterious auto-rotation for thumbnail views in MS windows systems, I wonder if it's a new feature that goes nuts if your device doesn't know which way is up? (like a desktop or laptop versus a smartphone).
I'm glad to have found this club and plan to do a bunch of searching/reading soon. As a CBX owner (finally!) I've made a personal list of a couple question that I hope to find answers or more info on:
1) Aphabet Headers -how they compare to some of the 6-into-1s, if they're no good then I might switch, but I wonder if any of the 6-into-1s don't work with the 1981/82 CBX Saddle Bags?
2) Anybody replace any/all their incandescent bulbs with LED's? -seems like a good way to save electricity when idling (especially with the headlight), which I do a lot of if I'm on a freeway or highway in the Seattle area
3) I've been seeing pictures of windscreens with taller bump-ups on the back end: are they any good? -and if so, I wonder where I can get one?

I replaced all my lights with LEDs..
the headlight I got from here http://www.xenondepot.com/H4-LED-headli ... led-hl.htm
it doesn't require a mechanical cooling fan which can fail but uses a heat sink instead.
I think this is the one you may want, looks better than the one I bought last year
