HI Everyone,
Based Newcastle NSW Australia.
I'm relatively new to motorbikes with my first one purchased about 5 years ago. 1978 CB400T. It was in bad shape and I rebuilt the top end and did everything else besides splitting the case on it. I learned so much and developed a real passion for working on and riding bikes.
I'm currently working on a 1981 GSX 400F which I purchased from a friend for a case of beer. It was in really bad shape, so I have taken the custom cafe design direction. It's been a long road but it's almost complete.
New "old" bike (project) purchased about a week ago -1984 Honda CBX750F. I'm looking for a workshop manual and any helpful advice from people who've owned one. It's in pretty good shape, so I will keep it original and try to take it back to its former glory by dropping the engine out and clean, respray, carb clean and service and general tidy up.
I'll put a few pics up
Thanks

Hello and welcome! That said, I guess it's my turn to tell another new 'CBX' owner that this forum exclusively deals with the 6 cylinder version, as the sub-heading of our title says. You are still most welcome and perhaps someone here with knowledge of where you might go for help will chime in.

Welcome to the site.
Unfortunately the RC-17 website has been dormant for a long while.
Maybe have a look at this DOHC Nighthawk site. There are some engine similarities with your bike.

Thanks Steve.
I'll head there and see what I can rustle up.
