After sitting for about 3-4 years, I'm ready to start restoration of my 79 Red CBX. First, of course, is a carb rebuild, but other things may materialize during that. It ran when I set it aside to ride a newer bike, about 3 years ago. Always garaged. Only 17K miles on it. I bought a trailer specifically to transport it from my San Diego home. Just need a contact to start conversation on possible work, prices, time, ect. Does anyone know of a CBX experienced Honda mechanic near me, in southern California?

Phil Tabor lives in your neck of the woods, but don't know if he takes on many projects these days. He would know who might though.
Mike Nixon used to do service on complete bikes, in addition to excellent carb service, but don't know lately if he still does. We're all getting old and are trying to cut back on this kind of work!
