Could really use your help guys..
So i managed to get a second set of carbs and disassembled according to mike nixons book, had stuff plated etc and have pretty much finished assembling , but i have THIS part left over in the tray...
Now i don't remember the part whilst dissembling and its possible its from somewhere else... but i thought before putting them in the bike i would just double check with you guys...
(Carbs were completely dissasembled)
Thanks so much
Thor

Hi,
It's off the throttle plate linkage for carb #3.
Paul.

Good news is you can replace it with rack assembled. Goes inside the big spring. A little fiddly until you see which way it goes. Unless there is something really unusual, there is no need to disassemble the throttle plate shafts. Just more stuff to mix up. Maybe bigger issue is - why no joint rubbers on the carb throttle joints? Randakk makes excellent reproductions for less than #30/set. You can install them too with rack assembled. You really should get them.
