It finally arrived! Wow this is a lot more bike than I thought. Significantly heavier than my other 2 bikes. I just took it around the block. It feels fine but I noticed that sharp U turns are a bit of a challenge. Gotta get it titled, registered & a plate then find out just what the heck I got. :D

You got a CBX!

PM me if you're interested in getting together and trading lies and maybe a ride or two.

Sharp U turns?
Never heard of 'em.

The size discrepancy between your 400F and the CBX will quickly be forgotten on your first real ride. Have fun.

Oh my! I think I'm gonna like this CBX! So far, I've only put 30 miles on it with 1 mile on a freeway where I did hit 80 with ease. This thing is a beast compared to my smaller bikes. I have some questions but I guess I should start posting in other than the new member section...

This surprises you?

Apples and oranges, as they say. In this case, the difference between a small displacement scrambler, a mid-sized commuter on the one hand and a superbike on the other.

Let's just say pleasantly surprised. My CB400F is/was the biggest bike I've ever been on so I didn't exactly know what to expect. I got this bike for several reasons. 1. It's awesome 2. its history 3. It's in great shape 4. If I hang onto it long enough it might be worth more than I paid for it. If I try, I could probably come up with a few more reasons  I knew it would be faster but I didn't know how much. Actually I still don't really know because I haven't yet really gotten seriously on it yet. Oh yeah, 5. it's nice to look at...
