Recently ordered new cam cover grommets which were listed as for a 1979 CBX. From the photo you can see that they are nothing like the original and when fitted they make the metal cap stand way proud of the cover because the rubber and metal cap design is so different.
Not sure if these would even seal properly but they are not what I want and not what a reputable company trading in the US and UK should sell.
These are "Vesrah"parts - can anyone recommend alternatives - apart from Honda?

There are different sized grommets for different years.
The '79 takes the smaller/thinner size and '80-'82 takes the thicker ones.
There is a thread somewhere here with pics of the different valve covers and grommets but i could not find it.
Reading this one MIGHT make you pull your hair out but it does have some pertinent info.

The aftermarket '79 grommets don't have the chrome washers, just plated, but otherwise seal just fine. NOS of each type are still available from Honda.
