N.O.S. '79 tank bumpers.
I don't want to add any more hi-jacking to the new member thread.
Should an nos tank come with the molding and clip already installed or would they have to be purchased separately.
numbers 14 and 15. https://www.ronayers.com/oemparts/a/hon ... /fuel-tank

Don't think the NOS replacement tanks had them, or the helmet sticker.

Did you by chance buy it from Ed Perkins a few years ago? He had it on ebay, and it's the tank I saw being unpackaged.steve murdoch icoa #5322 wrote:Thanks, Gents.

Either garage is too small or we have too many bikes. Or Momma's car needs to go outside.

Rick: The tank that Ed Perkins had on ebay, which sparked a discussion about this here, was red. I still have pictures of it.Rick Pope wrote:Did you by chance buy it from Ed Perkins a few years ago? I suspect he may have had his hands on this body work at one point as there is a HullyGully label on one of the boxes but i did not purchase it from him.

Oops. Your memory is better than mine. Ed had both black and red for that bike. I thought he sold the bike with the red on it, but apparently, the reverse was true.EMS wrote:Rick: The tank that Ed Perkins had on ebay, which sparked a discussion about this here, was red.
