I really like 3- and 6-cylinder bikes. I have a very nice, clean 82 CBX with low miles. Pretty sure it wasn't a 'school bike', but it apparently it sat in some dealer's showroom until first being sold/titled in 1985 (like I guess a lot of 'gen 2' CBXes apparently did). I'm the 3rd owner. Also have a nice CB750 K1 (71) and some other vintage SOHC Hondas, etc. So I obviously am a 'student' of vintage bikes with an eclectic stable who can't make up his mind...
Perhaps most of you out there can relate. Anyway, I remember when the first CBXes came out in 78/79 and they certainly were fearsome, striking and memorable. Amazingly, they still are after all these decades! I hope to make this June's rally event in upstate NY. Ride well, often, briskly and - especially -- safely!
