Good day folks! My name is Colin, I am an x mechanic, worked in a Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha shop as a mechanic and later service Mgr in the 80's and early 90's.
I got tired of being laid off every winter so I became a long haul owner operator which is what I do today. I still do lots of work in my shop for a small group of friends and friends of friends when I can. I have a large "herd" as the wife calls it. 2011 Victory Vision, 08 Honda VTX 1300,
2008 VROD that are all up and running. Also have a 71 Kaw A1ss and a 77 KZ1000 that are being restored, and a number of Kaw mt1's and KV75'S that I won't admit to anywhere the wife can see... We had a CBX for a Demo in 82 and I loved it so I'm going to thin the herd this spring, VROD VTX and maybe Vision are going to go... so... I'll be looking for a project 81 or 82 with bags for a keeper. I'm sure there's a wealth of info here and will be reading lots.
