ignition key with lock on 1979 CBX-Z?

Hi guys,

My 1979 CBX1000Z does not lock the steering with the ignition key.

My brother's 1979 CB750F has the push-lock function. Can I install one of those? Are they interchangeable?

Yours has the separate steering next lock, I think. Not sure whether the North American market set-up will work.
