Just know that you have to tilt the engine to do the conversion. Changing the throttle cables can be done without tilting the engine, but you probably wished you had by the time you get it done without.

dave ruined my day
....I was afraid that might be necessary...but I'll spend 6hrs trying to do it without tilting, because that's just the kind of stubborn sob I am

I have an excuse as while I am at it, I am swapping out the carbs that are on the bike now for the gorgeous set that
came with the bike. I had Mike rebuild them some time ago and have been waiting for the right time to put them back in.
The time is right

Very Best,
Phil

I recall I disconnected the cables once without tilting the engine, if got them out I think I should be able to reverse the process
I have time to access my installation options I don't expect the euro kit to arrive until late next week.

There is a procedure for doing it - described here somewhere and I've done it, but trust me, it's far easier and quicker to tilt the engine as Honda intended and instructs, and to be sure what you're doing.

Dave,
Tony MacNeill (sixofsix) wrote an article on how to do it.
He had some way of fishing them through but then you must consider that he too is Canadian
I think it is quicker and easier to just tilt the engine.
Best,
Phil
