Hi Guys
How important are the rubber bungs? Mine are ok but some have gone hard with age and don't fit that tightly but are held in place by the carb float bowls anyway. Does this affect the running of the bike in any way? Do they have to be gas tight?
Cheers
Martin

Re: Carb plugs
Can't answer your question, Martin but Randakk includes them in all his carb rebuild kits.
Maybe someone here with later model carbs that is not using them would be willing to part with them.

Re: Carb plugs
Martin,
I am not sure but would have expected that they need to give a good seal.
I have some good ones lying around, PM me your address and I'll send them to you.
Paul.

Re: Carb plugs
Yes! They have to be there on '79 carbs only and in good shape.
