Hi everyone. I am new to this site. I hope it will be as good as it looks to be. I am originally from Ontario, Canada but have been living in Glendale, AZ since 2002. I owned a CBX new in 1982 and loved the bike but sold it to join the touring folks and got a Goldwing. I recently found a 1982 CBX in a back yard covered with a tattered tarp. I looked into it and found that it was for sale but needed much work. I was able to buy it and am now in the process of bringing it back to life. It needed carbs done, some paint work and new stripe kit, tires as well as some other maintenance items. Date code on the tires is 1998. Probably the second set for the bike. The good part of this is it only has 10039 miles on it and the original exhaust is still intact although the header pipes do need to be chromed again. I am a professional mechanic (retired) so I can handle pretty much everything. Hope to get it out for a ride soon.

Yup, a bunch of us know all about a 7 month riding season.
