Hi,I'm mike from Sparks,NV. I've been absent for several years for medical but I'm back and ready to fine tune my '79 to make it more rideable. will be picking some brains for info. on the problems I'm having. Mainly, K&N air filters vs stock. Any thoughts from you veterans out there?

Welcome aboard, Mike.
There is a single K&N air filter that fits the stock air box that performs well.

If you are talking about individual K&N air filters then extensive jetting changes will be needed.
