Float bowl over flow tubes
I have a leaking over flow tube. It is cracked all the way to the base. Soldering it did not get it because it must be cracked where it pushes in the alum body. I am wanting to put a new stem in but is there a sealant that will withstand being submerged in gas that will hold up?

Years ago i used this stuff to seal a split in a chain saw gas tank.
Only used non-ethanol gas since and it did not leak. The chain saw has since been binned

Change the float bowl, dont faff about fixing.
There are a lot of Honda models with the same float bowl.
Have a rummage around a local friendly breaker.

Thanks for the 'patch' and the suggestions, guys. I expect this should be big help to some folks.
